A&O (Admissions & Orientation ) Checklist

When starting a new job many employers give their employees a manual to read over and familiarize themselves with all rules and regulations. Prison is no different. In fact, they have an entire checklist for every inmate so that each inmate goes through every program available. Some of the programs that are required are medical services, psychology services, and food services. The prison also makes sure that inmates are set up with an account and know the rules for accident compensation and the financial responsibility program.

As you read this checklist given to me after my A&O meeting, you will find the other things on this list that are required. At the bottom of the list is a signature line, which I’m unsure why it’s really there if we are in prison; a place where there isn’t much free will.
