I can see if I called you bitch, okay, because I’m calling you less of a man. But dust remover? What am I calling him–clean? Spotless? Is there something about dust that holy or something? And the dust remover is, I don’t know, removing your god or something? What?” From Dust Off Your Shoulders |
Believes he’s stuck at this restaurant because of the bad economy and it’s the perfect job for when he’s at school. However, he believes after Thomas was fired, the managers that took over, namely Donald, have allowed Shelly Sholes to become a low-grade restaurant.
His pet peeve is when management allows people to do whatever they want regardless the outcome. Deep down, he seems to believe it’s very important to for management to make sure does as close to the job that Thomas has done. Because of this belief, he comes extremely close to getting terminated do to his use of sarcastic blunt comments that usually are degrading and sexist. Back to top |

Heller is very loyal to any level of authority, regardless of faults, and believes that he every person should take what he believes is a military approach to every walk of life: even bussing.
After being dishonorably discharged from the Marines, Heller returned to Sacramento and worked at Shelly Sholes until a better job approached. However, he’s been having difficulty finding a better job do to his discharge, or so he says. Over time, he has received a rare one dollar raise, which Jeff has never received, which seems to make him comfortable at Shelly’s. Appearances: Back to top |

Best Quote: “Let me be frank here, because you don’t seem to know, and I don’t know why, but you served a man iced tea today and it was lukewarm. It nearly burned his tongue and that made me very concerned—” From Ice Tea Man |
Donald, to most of his employees, is the puppet, pushover manager who would never have the stones to stand up to Richard. Though he is overall respected by the majority of the employees, he’s struggled to earn the respect from the more outspoken employees—namely Nicholas Jeff.
His style of discipline is difficult to predict. When it comes to customer complains, he favors the customer, regardless if there right or wrong. However, he takes a lazier approach to disciplining employees. Usually, he either takes the side that would quickly end the dispute or does whatever Richard wants. Loser is the only way to described FJ. I became a manager because he impressed Richard with his personality and give him the impression he is a doormat. Seem to focus more on chain smoking and lounging in the restaurant instead of doing what needs to be done.
No employee respects him. Donald only tolerates him in an effort to be professional. Appearances: Dishwashed Cigarettes Back to top |

He’s the sidekick of a loser, FJ. Aside from chain smoking, sleeping with easy women, and lounging, there’s no known hobbies or goals for John. His work ethic is non-existent and never seems to bother showing any compassion for Shelly Sholes.
It is believed that he’s still employed because Richard refuses to pay for unemployment insurance. |

Ditzy, annoying, and lazy is the best way to describe Richard’s daughter Lucy. She was “hired” to prove to her dad that she could work an honest job. It’s unclear how long she has to work there to prove her case. |

Best Quote: “Why does my daughter have to spend three days training when she clearly has the genes to master this job that doesn’t even require English? Seriously, you guys are nothing more then overly priced dishwashers doing a job my 16 year old nephew could do.” |
Highly conceded individual who cares nothing but for himself. Richard gets very “excited” when he talks about himself.
He runs his restaurants with several general managers under him. He believes that by pleasing him, he pleases Shelly, which he takes pride in doing. He also believes in saving as much money as possible, even if it hurt the business. As a result, he rarely fires employees and encourages his managers to hired employees who wouldn’t need benefits or high pay to remain at Shelly Sholes. Nicholas Jeff would have been the first person fired in several months. However, if pressure from his regional manager occurs, he will go on a firing spree. Once he fired 14 employees, for minor reasons, due to pressure from his regional manager By trade, he’s a salesperson and has no experience in the restaurant industry. |
